Jubilee Fun in Phoenix Park
We are very excited to be involved in the Jubilee Fun Day to be held in Phoenix Park on Wednesday 1st June (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.) as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations locally. This is a free family event during the half-term holidays (before the extended Bank Holiday weekend) involving lots of local organisations and groups.
Lots of activities, including craft activities (making crowns and medals), sports activities, nature trails, forest skills and much more are being planned. There will be a fancy dress parade (come along as a princess or queen or superhero!) at 12.00 and a dog competition at 12.30 (anyone got corgis?!)
The Jubilee Quilt project will hopefully feature at the Fun Day and there will be the opportunity to find out more about the arts’ festival to be held on Saturday 24th September.
If you would like more information or would like to be involved in the Fun Day (we hope to have some arts’ performances there and always need volunteers!), please contact Julie on 07729 421405 or email julie@gpcchurch.co.uk
