Forget Me Not Cafe is relaunching

Relaunch of the Forget Me Not Cafe

This cafe has been successfully run from September 2018 and has helped bring people together for company, cake and crafts.  Attendance has been good with friendships been formed and new skills learnt and it has helped combat loneliness whilst supporting carers in Dementia friendly surroundings.

In partnership with other organisations including Barnsley Museums, Love Where You Live, The Snap Tin Cafe and Big Local the cafe is now been re-launched to include lots more fun activities and monthly specials and is open to anybody who feels they will benefit from attending.  The first of these specials will be held on 26th February with live music from Chris McShane the King of Ukelele and everyone is welcome to drop in between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm at The Snap Tin Cafe, first floor The Factory, Barnburgh Lane, Goldthorpe, S63 9PG.  There will be free drinks and cakes and people are welcome to stay and purchase lunch at very reasonable prices.

Look out for our regular, monthly special sessions but the Forget Me Not Cafe will run each Tuesday morning at the Snap Tin and you can drop in at any time between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm.
